The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice world title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
