In a unexpected crossover event that defies usual predictions, the game developer has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Revealed

According to the formal statement, "A mysterious encounter leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of prohibited rituals and fearsome transformations resonate through the shadows." The plot features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden cult.

The questline concentrates on "strange experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses

The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
